Frank Niccoli Named 2012 Silicon Valley Water Champion

Peter Drekmeier, Bay Area Program DirectorTuolumne River Trust, presented Frank Niccoli his award, “Water Champion for 2012” at ceremonies March 22, 2012.  Joining Frank on stage were The Village Gardener’s Michelle Chu, Construction and Operations Manager, and Dee Wong, Maintenance Manager.

The Silicon Valley Water Conservation Awards Committee named Frank Niccoli “Water Champion for 2012” in recognition of The Village Gardener’s long-standing approach to creating environmentally designed, sustainable gardens and landscapes using best water conservation practices.

The award is given by the group, a 19-member organization representing a diverse cross-section of respected parties concerned about water conservation and the need for a strategic response, both to the droughts and to a new era of water scarcity.

Headquartered in San Carlos, CA, The Village Gardener brings the same environmentally conscious approach to all of its projects, big or small, located between San Francisco and San Jose.

About the Award
